Information you provide

Repair bookings collect your name, email address, telephone number, appointment details, selected Miele or SEBO brand, and any description you enter. The website consultation questionnaire collects your name and email address, optional telephone number, flooring, pets, dust or allergy concerns, budget, and any optional home size, town or ZIP code, or message you provide. The Cal.com consultation scheduler separately collects your name, email address, appointment details, and required answers about flooring, pets, allergies or dust sensitivity, home size, and budget.

Please provide only information needed for your request. Do not include medical details, payment-card information, or other sensitive information in forms or messages.

How we use your information

We use information submitted through the free consultation questionnaire to respond to inquiries, provide vacuum recommendations, arrange consultations, and follow up about potential vacuum purchases. Consultation leads are not automatically enrolled in newsletters, autoresponder sequences, or promotional email campaigns. We also use appointment information to arrange and manage appointments, discuss repairs, and send appointment confirmations and related customer communications. Submitting a questionnaire alone does not confirm an appointment; the scheduler displays a separate booking confirmation.

Where submissions and communications go

Appointment bookings are handled by Cal.com through the calendars embedded on our website. Cal.com processes booking contact details, appointment information, and answers to booking questions, and sends customer confirmations and store notifications. Appointments are also recorded in the store’s connected Google Calendar. Consultation questionnaire submissions from our WordPress website and appointment notifications are sent to the store’s Gmail address. WordPress.com/Automattic provides website hosting and delivery of website questionnaire notifications; Google provides Gmail and calendar services. These providers process information as part of providing their services. See Cal.com’s Privacy Policy for information about its processing.

Website analytics and cookies

With your analytics consent, Google Analytics 4 helps us understand page views and interactions, including telephone-link clicks, article views, questionnaire completion, and confirmed repair or consultation bookings. Our custom analytics events do not include customer names, email addresses, telephone numbers, or questionnaire answers.

We use Microsoft Clarity to understand how visitors use the site through session recordings and heatmaps, including clicks, scrolling, and page interactions. The site marks form fields and appointment information for masking. Clarity may collect device, browser, usage, and online-identifier information. Microsoft processes Clarity data under its privacy statement, including for its own purposes described there.

Analytics and Marketing are separate, optional choices, stored independently in your browser. GA4 and Clarity start only after Analytics acceptance. Marketing is off by default. Use “Cookie preferences” to change or withdraw either choice. Meta Pixel marketing tracking is currently disabled following a controlled PageView test. If enabled, it will load only after separate, explicit Marketing consent and will be limited to PageView measurement for advertising performance and audiences. Meta Pixel can share page URLs, browser and device information, IP addresses, and cookie identifiers with Meta; our implementation does not add names, email addresses, telephone numbers, or questionnaire answers to Pixel events. Rejecting or withdrawing Marketing consent prevents future Pixel tracking; it does not retract data already transmitted. See the Meta Privacy Policy. Analytics and marketing tools may use cookies or similar browser storage. WordPress.com and site features may also process technical information and use cookies for hosting, security, sign-in, and site operation. Browser settings provide additional cookie controls. Rejecting optional tracking does not prevent consultation requests or appointment booking.

Read more in the Automattic privacy notice for visitors, Google Privacy Policy, and Microsoft Privacy Statement.

Comments and external links

If you leave a public article comment, the comment and the name you choose may be visible to other visitors. WordPress.com comment and spam-protection features may process technical and submitted information. Links to Google Maps, Google reviews, social services, or other websites take you to services with their own privacy practices.

Retention, access, and requests

Information may remain in appointment records, form records, email correspondence, provider systems, and backups. Retention depends on those systems and the handling of your request; this policy does not promise a fixed deletion period. To ask about information you provided, request a correction or deletion, or discuss privacy concerns, contact the store using the details above. We will review your request, including any records we need to retain.

Updates

We may update this policy as the website or its services change. The date above identifies the latest revision.
